In his clinical work (NHS and private), Dr Cregg manages patients with wide variety of painful conditions, often where pain affects quality of life and is a barrier to recovery and rehabilitation. Dr Cregg has extensive experience in treating acute onset pain/ exacerbation and chronic persistent pain due to physical and emotional trauma, sports injuries, pain affecting musculoskeletal apparatus, head/neck pain, back pain, neuropathic and pain due to cancer. Dr Cregg is a strong advocate for the reduction of long-term opioid prescribing in treatment of non-cancer chronic pain. Extensive research experience which materialized into Ph.D. award in 2012 furthered his understanding of biopsychosocial pain model and how injury can affect our bodies and minds. He is up-to-date with the new part 35 civil procedure rules.
